Justin Forman Small Group Leader at a Church in Allen, Texas By now you’re probably pretty familiar with Erwin. Maybe you’ve heard him speak at a conference, on Mosaic’s podcast or picked up one of his wildly popular books like Barbarian Way, Chasing Daylight or Soul Cravings. When a dynamic communicator like Erwin says that this tool is what they use the most at his church in Los Angeles to help people work through Biblical transformation you know its something pretty special. For years we’ve known that God is the only one who can truly change our character. But what Erwin does is highlight that every day we can make a choice to use our time and our talents and our choices to become more like God’s design in us or we can settle for something far less. What I love most about the series are the personal, real life stories. Those deep, raw, emotional stories have a way of communicating far beyond anything else. For our small group it really gave each one of us to relate to. Erwin does a great job building off each one of those stories to challenge us to really live. I’d highly recommend checking it out. Also, if you’re interested in going through this as a church wide campaign you might look at Erwin’s podcast archives. I believe their whole church went through the study for several weeks. Could be a great tool to get the sermon notes and add to the study.
